Hotfix Summaries


ATTENTION: If any issues below persist or further new issues are discovered, please contact The Bonsai Treehouse through any preferred means and an amendment will be promptly added to the next hotfix!

V1.01: Fixed an issue where Amy stops spawning in the Martin House if the player raises their crucifix towards the position she is expected to spawn before she does so.

V1.02: Increased Amy's range of "sight" in the Martin House level. Attempted to address functionality issues for misaligned button hitboxes in the main menu and interaction with the initial disclaimer screen being cut off upon start-up due to interacting with other windows during initialisation (problems may still occur depending on the device being used).

V1.03: A ninth letter is supposed to appear after expelling the white spindly "Chupacabra" demon in the forest area. There was a scripting oversight that caused this not to happen. This update addresses it.

V1.04: Addressed the issue where ending notes and the hidden note following the Amy boss fight don't count towards the note total number in the main menu and pause menu.

V1.05: Addressed an obscure collision glitch wherein John (while holding the gun during the climax) would sail right over the Chupacabra demon instead of being captured by it thereby preventing the player from pausing the game. The hitbox has been heightened to try and mitigate the problem. In addition, the game is now set to windowed mode due to apparent issues with full-screen functionality, Michael's letter no longer appears in the climax as it should only appear after being expelled eleven times in the opening segment and the Moonlight Sonata music in the opening Forest section has been pitched down slightly to try and bypass copyright filters on YouTube uploads (this can be altered further if needed).

V1.06: Special balance update; made the final Amy boss fight overall easier and faster to beat (try raising your crucifix at Amy before AND after her circle of runes attack!)
